Hillary calls kettle black: “Iran becoming military dictatorship”
The Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, made the headlines a couple of weeks ago stating that she fears that Iran is becoming a military dictatorship. Now I have to tell you, there is a very long article that can be written about this topic, but for our purposes here we’re going to keep it very simple. Unfortunately, I think it’s safe to say that most Americans don’t know exactly where Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan are situated in relationship with one another, so we are providing a little map for you to take a look at.
As of the end of 2009, there were 115,000 troops in Iraq. We now have over 100,000 in Afghanistan. We have a large number of warships in the Persian Gulf. And just about every day for several years United States officials have been rattling their sabers toward Iran. The Republican presidential candidate, John McCain, infamously led a group of retired vets in song, “Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran.”
So even if you hate Iran with a passion, (and personally, I have no beef with them and don’t want to spend a penny of my tax dollars killing anybody there or anywhere else for that matter) how can you blame them if they are very focused on military matters when they are surrounded by a hostile force? Yo, Hillary, look at the map, and look at American deployments…who is creating the need for Iran to become increasingly militaristic?
And in closing, let me toss out the fact that America spends more money on its military than all of the other countries in the world combined. We are the aggressor in two different wars taking place in poor countries over 6,000 miles from our shores. Our last president could very accurately be described as a military dictator, and when we voted for some other guy who promised to get us out of these wars, we got the same Secretary of Defense and an escalation in Afghanistan. We The People have no choice; our military, (dictated to by the global banking elite) is going to do what the international bankers tell them to do regardless of how we vote.
Hillary would make George Orwell proud…I am a patriotic American, but the fact is that my country is the most militaristic nation on the face of the planet by a very large margin. And sadly, we aren’t even fighting on behalf of our own country.
