Rove proud of waterboarding

RoveBushKarl Rove, the former Bush adviser, is running around inviting microphones within the vicinity of his horn because he is promoting a book that he has written. From my perspective, Karl Rove should be in prison, not making millions from book deals, and I am not alone in that assessment. Like his buddy Dick Cheney, Rove seems to go out of his way to make sure that everyone knows exactly how arrogant he is.

So now Rove is saying that waterboarding is not torture, he’s proud to have been involved in it, and, that the invasion of Iraq that has all but bankrupted the country economically and morally was a great idea.

When you see Rove, and you hear his rhetoric, he looks like the last guy you would want next to you in a real foxhole. Here is what Jesse Ventura had to say about waterboarding and the Bush bunch:

“[Water-boarding] is torture… It’s drowning. It gives you the complete sensation that you are drowning. It is no good, because you — I’ll put it to you this way, you give me a water board, Dick Cheney and one hour, and I’ll have him confess to the Sharon Tate murders.”
